We are dedicated to delivering transformative software and technology to the NHS which complements existing hospital and healthcare operating environments.  Starting in 2003 with a portfolio of electronic tools to automate and streamline operational audits, our services now encompass all areas of the modern healthcare estate including large-scale catering, cleaning and workforce management systems. 


Our philosophy is not to offer a one-size-fits-all solution.  Instead we recognise that every hospital and healthcare organisation is unique, with local operating procedures and requirements that must be accommodated to ensure a successful outcome for all interested parties.

Joe Lynham

Managing Director

Joe joined Synbiotix in 2007 and is responsible for the Company’s strategic direction and product roadmap.  He is a highly experienced software designer, and his detailed knowledge of healthcare IT systems and operating procedures provides him with a unique insight into creating software that is perfectly suited to healthcare environments. 

Joe graduated from Griffith College in Dublin, and then spent time working for Diageo, Guinness and Anglo American before joining Synbiotix.


Theo Constantinides

Operations Director

Theo joined Synbiotix in 2003, and heads up our software engineering and development team. 

He holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from Boston University, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, New York.  Prior to joining Synbiotix Theo designed software for several large financial institutions and corporations in the US including Citibank, Prudential, Morgan Stanley and AT&T.

Martin Turner

Finance Director

Martin is a qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA) and has been a part of senior management teams at private and publically-listed technology companies for the past 25 years. 


He graduated from Birmingham University with a BSc in Chemical Engineering before training as an accountant with Arthur Anderson and then PwC in London, Los Angeles and Toronto.

Mark Edell

Project Director

Mark is a qualified Chef and Nutritionist with over 15 years of food service experience, he has a true passion for patient satisfaction and is a food lover with a broad knowledge and network of the wider food industry. 


As Training and Operations manager for a leading food service manufacturer, he was responsible for the project management and mobilisation support of numerous NHS Contracts across the South East including in-house NHS trusts and outsourced FM contracts.
