Legislation requires that any location that distributes and stores water is to be flushed at intervals depending on their location and usage in order to remove any possible colonisation by Legionella bacteria. Permanent records of this activity is required to be kept, including a record of the person who performed this task.
Our Water Flushing module generates a schedule of areas that are required to be ‘flushed’ of water depending on their perceived risk. The responsible staff member uses this schedule to perform the ‘flushing’ of the required water systems and marks this off using the system.
This generates a record that is transferred to a centralised dashboard in real time, logging the location, room number, date and duration of the flushing and the person responsible for the task. This information can be monitored from the dashboard and compliance against national standards can be easily tracked and measured.
