Following the publication of the Hygiene Code as part of the NHS Health and Social Act 2008 and the Care Quality Commission requirement for all ‘registered’ healthcare organisations to declare compliance against a number of ‘Outcomes’, Synbiotix has designed a unique Weekly Hygiene Code Audit and Management Toolkit specifically to meet the needs of all healthcare organisations and in particular to meet the needs of personnel (Modern Matrons, Infection Control Matrons) responsible for auditing, reporting and declaring the compliance within their organisations.
The Weekly Matrons Infection Control, Environment and Hygiene Code Audit Toolkit has been designed on the basis of all the requirements, standards, outcomes and national criteria as laid out by the Care Quality Commission Annual Outcomes on Safety and Quality of Care, Hygiene Code Standards, Infection Prevention Society Guidelines and PEAT Assessment.
The Toolkit is designed to enable organisations to capture data required to demonstrate their compliance with the set standards and to also enable organisations to demonstrate their learning through the management of actions for areas of partial or non-compliance.
The toolkit is an innovative electronic web-based solution which enables easy data capture processes, immediate and automated measurement of compliance against set and agreed standards and the immediate publication of results.
